The Great And Amazing Benefits

The following are the major reasons why God established the Sabbath Day for humanity:

1. For man to have long life.

2. For man to observe quiet time and meditation.

3. For man to grow in spirit and in truth.

4. For man to have dreams and discover that he is a traveller.

5. For man to have dreams and visions, and thereby discover that there are other worlds in existence, which world can be visited without the earthly system of transport.

6. For man to find his way back to heaven, from where he came to this earth.

7. For man to see and understand mysteries.

8. For man to tap natural resources, through scientific discoveries, inventions and developments.

9. By so doing, man avoids working 24/7, avoid working every day and even so at night, throughout the week without having rest, because many burdens and over labour kills the spirit, which indwells the human body. The animals are progressing spiritually far more than humanity, because the animals do not over labour themselves, and are not wearied by the cares and worries of everyday life.

10. For man to receive and retain Abraham’s Blessings.

Why Sabbath Is Compulsory

Do you know what happens, after you have used a battery, the battery is weak and dying, and you keep it aside for some days?

You allow it to rest for some time?

What happens?

You discover that the battery becomes alive and active again, after some days or hours of rest.

What does that show you?

It shows that rest is good for our health.

Rest makes human beings to have a very long life.

People bounce back to life, after some hours of rest, instead of dying permanently from burdens and labours, and from sufferings and distresses.

This shows that God is wise in His command to humanity, for humanity to rest once in a while, especially one day in a week.

That is the Sabbath, which is the silent kingdom of heaven, manifest here on earth.

Why The Sabbath Is Important

God asked humanity to keep the Sabbath Day holy, on the seventh day, because that is the day God is available to receive your prayers and worship. But humanity have refused to obey God, by attending all kinds of man-made churches, ministries and fellowships, and by worshiping on Sundays and any other day.

Do people go to the government house anytime or any day to see the president or governor?

No.

They go during the office hours?

Yes.

But humanity have refused to worship God in spirit and in truth as specified by God Almighty. They overlook the fact that God has office hours, worship hours, travel hours, etc. They are like the disobedient students who refuse to attend examination on the scheduled dates and times, only to rush to the school for the examination, after the school has closed and the teachers have gone home.

Who are they deceiving?

They are deceiving themselves.

And who are they to blame?

They have themselves to blame.
